who operates Vael

Vael is operated by Ilja Gwawl. Contact contact@vael.email for service, billing, privacy or abuse questions.

your account

Your account key controls access. Keep it somewhere safe and private. Vael does not ask for a recovery email, and cannot recover a lost key through an email password reset. You are responsible for the app credentials and other access you authorize.

Free and Plus

Free includes 100 MB of mail storage, three custom aliases and ten random aliases, with receiving only. Plus includes 5 GB, 25 custom aliases, 200 random aliases and sending from your primary vael.email address. Aliases and added domains receive only. Plus supports three verified domains with up to 25 explicit recipient addresses each; there is no catch-all.

Plus costs €5 for one month, €15 for three, €30 for six or €60 for twelve. Terms use calendar months; renewal extends the existing active term, or starts a new term if it has expired. Access is prepaid rather than automatically charged.

After Plus expires, a 30-day grace period preserves receiving and its storage allowance, while sending stops. Afterwards Free limits apply; an oversized mailbox must be reduced or renewed before additional mail can be accepted.

payments and refunds

OxaPay processes cryptocurrency payments. Use the invoice’s exact asset, network, amount and required memo or tag, and never pay an expired address. Vael absorbs the processor fee; your wallet’s blockchain fee is separate. Access is granted after the payment is verified. Incorrect, late or incomplete payments can require manual review.

We do not offer voluntary refunds. This does not limit any cancellation, refund or other rights that applicable law requires. Contact us about a payment error or any legally required remedy.

responsible use

Do not use Vael for spam, phishing, malware, impersonation, harassment, unauthorized access or unlawful activity. Paid access does not exempt an account from abuse controls. Sending and recipient limits apply; new accounts have lower sending limits. We may suspend sending or access to address abuse or protect the service.

storage and availability

Messages, attachments, drafts and other stored mail count toward storage. Messages have a 40 MB transport ceiling; webmail imports have a 25 MB limit. Mailbox and connection limits protect the service. Dependency outages or exhausted capacity can temporarily prevent new mail or account creation. Vael does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or inbox placement at other providers.

deletion and addresses

Deleting an account revokes access and removes its live mailbox. Primary and random addresses are permanently retired. A released custom alias is reserved to its previous owner for 24 hours before it can become available again. Choose an inactivity policy only if you want automatic deletion; it is disabled by default.

Our privacy policy explains stored data, backups and service providers. These terms do not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
