VaelMask browser extension
Use receive-only VaelMail aliases in web forms and fill verification codes without leaving the page.

Before you connect
You need a VaelMail account and an installed copy of VaelMask. Open VaelMask from your browser toolbar. Pinning it makes the popup easier to reach.
Aliases receive mail in your VaelMail inbox. They do not send mail, and your account's alias limits still apply.
Connect your account
- Open the VaelMask popup and choose Connect VaelMail.
- The extension opens VaelMail's connection page. Sign in to your account there if needed. Your account key belongs on VaelMail, not in a website's form.
- Compare the six-character pairing code in the extension with the code on the approval page. Continue only if they match.
- Choose how long access lasts and approve the connection. Return to the extension popup to finish pairing.
Use an alias on a website
Click the VaelMask trigger beside an email field to generate an alias and fill the field. You can also use the extension popup or its context-menu actions to work with a saved alias.
VaelMask remembers the website's alias association in your browser. Reuse that alias when you return, or manage your addresses in Aliases. Pausing an alias stops it receiving new mail; deleting it is a separate action.
Fill a verification code
After filling an alias, submit the website form. VaelMask waits for a verification email for up to five minutes and can resume on the same origin after navigation. For unusual forms, choose Wait for email now. When the assistant shows a code, choose Fill code to insert it into the site's verification field. You can copy it instead if that site's form does not support autofill.
For a sign-in or confirmation link, check its displayed destination before opening it. VaelMask never submits the verification form or opens a link automatically. If a message has not appeared yet, check the alias and your VaelMail inbox. Autofill depends on the website's form and the message's format.
Manage website preferences
Use the popup to search addresses, review recent codes, and manage disabled websites. Recent codes expire after ten minutes and clear on disconnect. Open the full page for more room. If you disable VaelMask on a site, enable it again from those preferences when you want the in-field controls back.
Disconnect or revoke access
Disconnect from the extension popup, or revoke its grant in VaelMail account security. An expired or revoked connection needs to be paired again before it can access your account.
Read the VaelMask privacy policy for details about extension storage and verification messages. For account and mail storage, see the VaelMail privacy policy.
