your address. your aliases.
a different address for each signup. one place for your mail.
your main address is at @vael.email. aliases at @vael.pw receive mail in the same account, so you can give each service its own address.
make your first alias.
open aliases in webmail and add an alias.
choose a custom address, or select generate a random alias.
add a description so you remember what it’s for. leave receive mail at this alias enabled, then save.
give each service its own address.
use one alias for shopping, another for newsletters, and a separate one for an account you care about. random aliases help you avoid reusing the same handle everywhere.
if an alias gets noisy, pause it by turning off receiving. check where you used it first: password resets and important notices sent there will stop arriving too.
a couple of things to know.
aliases are receive-only, even on plus. sending uses your main @vael.email address and requires plus. aliases also do not make your messages anonymous.
free includes 3 custom and 10 random aliases. plus includes 25 custom and 200 random aliases.
